Papers on the perception of liveness in laptop performance, Communication, Control, and State Sharing in Collaborative Live Coding, and posters on Algorave, Quick Live Coding in the Browser, Collaborative Live-Coding with an Immersive Instrument. 4th-6th July 2014 – The Live Coding and the Body symposium in the University of Sussex, starting with the first Brighton Algorave on the evening of the 4th, and then a 1.5 day symposium exploring embodiment, controllerism, choreography, live art, perception, deafness, and more.. This is really going to expand our ideas of what live coding is about.
Then no rest up, for a full-on Algorave tour of the North of England, organised by Ash Sagar, Adam Denton and myself, and featuring visitors from Mexico, Japan and Canada. We did the Gateshead Algorave a few weeks back, and now it’s time for..
