Live Coding session at the 5th World Music Forum

The International Music Council’s 5th World Forum of Music was held last week (November 21-24, 2013) at the Queensland Conservatorium in Brisbane, Australia. Amongst many sessions on music and its future was a performance and discussion about Live Coding lead by Andrew Brown and Andrew Sorensen. In a semi-formal setting on a stage in the Conservatorium foyer, this session introduced and demonstrated live coding as an emerging musical practice. Following this presentation was a Q&A period with enquiries from an intrigued audience of musicians from around the globe.
