The talk.lurk.org rocketchat is great, but maybe a bit too active, with tech support getting mixed up in free-flowing discussion. It can be hard to keep up, and it seems a lot of people feel excluded.

So to compliment the chat, some of us started to make a new discussion forum around live coding, to make something more welcoming, focused, easy to navigate/search and so on.

We’re building up categories slowly, so far the main categories are:

• Announcements – events, new releases and other live coding news
• Performing – discussion around live coding performance
• Making liveness – discussion around making live coding software and other systems
• Organisers – for organisers of events and communities from around the world to link up share experiences, thoughts and ideas.
