I'm currently developing a live-coding programming language called
TanScript which I'm trying to make usable without vision via sonified
programs and a simple, predictable, and reliable method of navigating
programs using hotkeys. TanScript programs are not typed using text, but
are 'played' using a sequence of hotkey presses, each of which stands for a
single instruction.
Because TanScript programs are sonified, TanScript is easily can be used to
compose music. I've written about it here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Mneumonese/comments/3mbgmi/tanscript_as_a_musical_language/
I haven't yet found any literature on programming languages and IDE's for
the blind, so anything you can give me here will be very helpful.
