thanks all for the response, it is very appreciated.
Now it seems, I have bit mistyped the date of our visit, shame on me. So it seems we are going to be in NYC mid. November. (quite the same date 18-24 or so).
I am thinking about some one-night live-coding exchange (party), in some friendly space, I can imagine making it even live-networked for others who cannot be in place physically to join us remotely.
If you have any suggestions for a such place where it could fit well, that would be fantastic!
