First International Conference on Live Coding
University of Leeds
13th-15th July 2015

How can computer programming become live, social and creative? Join us
in Leeds for three days of live coding in music, dance, education,
computer science, social science, philosophy, human computer
interaction, computer games, programming language design, craft,
industry and beyond. This is still a young field, and the conference
aims to throw the field open to new perspectives, allowing many new
ideas and collaborations to spark.

Live coding has enjoyed many international events over the past twelve
years, with ICLC marking the first academic conference. It will
include dozens of peer reviewed papers and performances, with scholars
and artists travelling from around the world.

The daytime programme will include a range of concert hall
performances, including live coded instrumental and multichannel
works. There will also be two 'algorave' style club events which will
include many of the world's greatest algorithmic dance music
producers.
