I would be interested in giving cultural context and emphasis to the mathematical structures that lie underneath some algorithms, "musical problems" or to highlight those ideas that appear very frequently during the creative process.

I usually wonder about (and utilize) combinatorics, groups, divisibility and modular arithmetic, Matrices or even categories in music. Sometimes I do it in a counscious level, but sometimes it is more subconscious. So the thing is, I frequently encounter these structures in algebra, programming, or while being in a creative process. I know the mathematical importance and the difference between of these objects, and I also know various books that explain some relationship to these ideas and music, but it's often a too theoretical approach (or a very technical approach). I frequently decide that It is easier to invent some algorithms that work for me.

So Yes, maybe I wish there would exist a book that explained me about the different kind of musical algorithms I could try and why (based in experiences, culture, type of music, etc).

I also like LiveCoding, as a way of improvising music. So it would probably be interesting to know more about improvising music with computers...
