Sorry about the inevitable hitches, we can have a rehearsal before the
next one to really understand the technology. Because we did not in
the end do it "on air" it was not recorded I'm afraid. You can however
go to the original 'on air' hangout that we abandoned, and see a
brief recording of me frowning.
I share Alan's feeling (and Renick's below) that in "on air" mode it
should be possible for 10 people to be in the video chat, and the rest
to be watching via youtube. Then I guess we can swap around..
Dragica also noted that it is possible to apply to google for hangouts
with more people if you are "interesting" enough.
Nonetheless we had a great chat with 10 of us from around the world,
enjoyed a quick tour from Sam of sonic pi via some acid basslines and
amen breaks, and shared news of a huge amount of activity including
community building efforts around the place. Looking forward to the
next one!
