Dear all,

At the Symposium on the History and Philosophy of Computing, which will happen between 4 and 6 July in Birmingham, there'll be a small concert by BEER (Birmingham Ensemble for Electroacoustic Research, with Scott Wilson) which I'll join as a guest.

This is the announcement, just in case you are close by anyway:
"When was the last time you spent a pleasant evening in a comfortable chair, reading a good program" (Jon Bentley).
Live coding to celebrate the Turing Centennial, the Birmingham Ensemble for Electroacoustic Research and Julian Rohrhuber play improvised algorithmic network music. (In the entrance hall of the computer science building July 4, 7:45 pm).

best,
Julian
