Re: [livecode] livecode Digest, Vol 35, Issue 5

Hello all. My name is Joel, and I'm a music compositions doctoral
student in Cincinnati.

I teach a class called "Jammin' With Laptops" (I know, terrible title,
not my idea) at the Univ. of Cincinnati. It's an undergrad class with a
huge enrollment, which is not ideal for the subject, but we're
progressing from simple digital audio applications and techniques to
(hopefully) some interactive live audio stuff by the end of the term.

I'm trying to stoke interest in live-coding here. A friend and I have
been doing some, him on Pd and me on Fluxus. We're also in the midst of
founding a laptop orchestra. There's a lot of interest but it's still in
its infancy.

Joel
