I second the request for the JIT compiler; also, what editor are you
using? I'm building a library / Ruby module for livecoding
(http://ebuswell.github.com/Cshellsynth/) but I've always sort of
envisioned being able to do the whole thing in pure C goodness, rather
than having to use Ruby.
