Hi Tom,

Part of the API, lowest level for direct sample access (RemoteIO). See
for example http://michael.tyson.id.au/2008/11/04/using-remoteio-audio-unit/

Getting to the samples themselves is essential for proper DSP work, so
the higher level APIs are no good. TOPLAPapp runs like iGendyn on the
level of individual samples, and the instructions set up different
manipulations...
