I can confirm that it does.
I did have to open the link in VLC directly instead of clicking on it and
refering Firefox to VLC. For some reason my system doesn't otherwise realise
that this is a stream to open and not a file to download completely, then
play. (firefox, VLC, Ubuntu 8.10, all up to date)
It's not at all unlikely that this isn't due to the stream but to me mucking
up some settings. Might be useful to others with similarly mucked up
settings.
So; it seems to work fine and I'm looking forward to this. Have a good set!
