I'm going to do a remote performance to piksel from my sofa in south
london. It will be around 11h GMT (or midnight at the festival in
norway). You can join us on irc, on the #piksel channel on the
freenode.net server. If you don't have an irc client you can use this
java one here: http://java.freenode.net/index.php?channel=piksel

A link to the stream will appear here: http://slab.org:8000/

In case someone is interested, here's the commandline I'm using to do a
live screencast:

gst-launch-0.10 oggmux name=mux ! shout2send ip=193.34.28.198 password=xxx mount=live ximagesrc name=videosource use-damage=false endx=484 endy=244 ! video/x-raw-rgb,framerate=4/1 ! videorate ! ffmpegcolorspace ! videoscale method=1 ! video/x-raw-yuv,width=484,height=244,framerate=4/1,channels=1 ! theoraenc ! queue ! mux. alsasrc name=audiosource ! audio/x-raw-int,rate=22000,channels=2,depth=16 ! audioconvert ! vorbisenc ! queue ! mux.

That uses about 20% of my cpu, hopefully that won't matter too much...

Cheers,

alex
