I've made some progress on Quoth; it had been using Squeak device
drivers that were Windows-specific, but after my Windows laptop died I
rewrote them using Port[Audio,MIDI], which runs on several host
platforms. I presented Quoth running on a Powerbook to the Bay Area
Computer Music Technology group from meetup.com a few months ago.
I'm working on a release of Squeak which will make Squeak
application deployment reasonable, for 2008-06-20 (solstice), and a
Quoth release for 2008-09-22 (equinox).
