There are of course a million different things going on right now
with knitting. Machine Projects did some workshops some time back, as
have many others.

And yes, the Jacqard Loom was my original reference. I don't see much
of what we do these days as all that different from Jacqard Looms. At
least not mechanically. I suppose the level of abstraction is a
little too specified, but even there...

On the subject of livecoding interfaces other than keyboards, my
Rubik's Cube controller was originally designed for Livecoding. It
quickly turned into a simple 6-track midi sequencer but that wasn't
the original intention. I suppose I should make some more digestible
demos of how that aspect worked...
