A few days to go for the deadline, here is a clarification I just mailed
to someone, perhaps the call is not completely clear so...
The call was for several related things at once:
1/ call for presentation abstracts
2/ call for paper abstracts for proceedings
3/ call for performance abstracts
4/ call for commission applications
My hope is that everyone who does 1/ will also do a related 2/, but it
is not mandatory, for example someone might want to demo their software
without writing about it. 3/ is also encouraged! 4/ is related to 3/,
if you have an idea for a performance but some money would help to
realise it, please apply for a commission.
A couple of paragraphs abstract is fine, if you can get your idea across
in that.
Not many applications for the commissions as yet. There's a couple for
£1000 and a few more for a few hundred, ringfenced by the funding
organisations...
