Gentlemen, greetings.
DJ Fadereu a.k.a Rohit Gupta (30) from Bombay.

It is an honour
to find the company of people like the Slub-masters here. I have been
downloading those wicked mp3s and listening for inspiration. You guys
are unbelievable.

Me? I am a story-teller, you could say. I wrote a book about India in
verses,
which run to over 6 hours when performed. Its called the Jantar Mantar
Projekt. Details at the "hypelink" below.

I'm still learning Pure Data, never having coded myself, although I did
manage
to sleep though four years of chemical engineering labs and survived without
an explosion. Pure Data is a lot like designing distilleries of sound.

I am toying around with virtual theremins and other strange artifacts, but
still
struggling with the "unity" of my performance. I really wish to use the
laptop
in a way that is - as Kassen notes - direct. So I suppose I am heading
towards
the toplap controlling a theatrical space in a "live" manner so that the
process
is visible to the audience, and the immersion complete.

Lets see what develops.

cheers,
