Heh. I don't think it's worthwhile to do that, although it's polite to

I think "side effect" is an understatement. The sound/visual/odour is
the way we experience the process with our bodies, so it's quite
important as a medium. I think it important to experience processes
with our whole bodies, not just our minds...
