"Livecoding is for music" is analogous to "Computers are for word
processing" or "The internet is for cat pictures." Yet, the OP list of
definitions focuses heavily on music.

If we look at aspects interwoven with all human rituals, music is among
them. So are business, politics, human relationships, communication, sex,
etc.. Live coding could be a medium for many of these things.

AR, IoT, and the semantic web have potential to extend live coding into new
applications - smart homes, LARP, telepresence, fine grained business
transactions, etc..

As I understand it, music is just one application for live coding. Music is
in the same box as telepresence and smart homes, not the same box as AR and
IoT.
