[livecode] Google hangout meeting?

Hi all

Welcome to the new list/forum!

I took part in a google hangout thing in broadcast mode, for a fund-raising telethon recently and was impressed by it really. There's even a 'studio' mode for reasonable quality stereo sound, although it was fiddly to get sound into it, it worked quite well, with screen sharing and all.

Would anyone be up for taking part in a live coding google hangout, say on Thursday next week (17th April)? If so let me know your timezone, and whether there's something you'd like to talk about / demo for 5-10 minutes, and we'll try to find a reasonable time for everyone..

This is something that you could watch without a google account, but to contribute to the stream I think you'd unfortunately need to sign up for their mass surveillance programme. We could perhaps run an irc channel in parallel..

cheers

alex
