Same here, crikey.. Also I don't think shreds are an old idea. I
think relative to computer science the idea of basing your language on
strict time semantics is pretty radical, as that "computing needs
time" paper I linked to discusses. I'd like to read a paper or
something comparing time representation in SC, ChucK and impromptu
though (I don't really know any of them).
