On some level none, I agree.
I already side-stepped this a few times by trying to present my own little
system as "live programming" and pretend it's topical.
There's definitely a large overlap, for example in modular systems like a
Serge. I like livecoding, I like modulars and I like the 808, if I were
forced to draw this line I'd say the 808 isn't Turing complete (as far as I
know.....).
I tried to make this admittedly rather informal distinction in order to get
to the possibility of cheating to get more interesting expressions yet
introduce the chance of crashing.
It won't win any awards for excellence in non-ambiguous writing, I agree.
