A few months ago I saw a concert by Vorhaus of White Noise. He did the same.

Not all that sucessfully, IMHO, he showed VAZ modular but it wasn't clear
what was going on and for the most part little seemed to happen there.
Unfortunately this was in between shots of "nature" documentaries. Sdly
parts were picked from those nearly randomly including end-titles (with
soundtrack credits!).

Still, even if these weren't that sucessfull to me it's interesting that
that generation now thinks showing your schreen is a good idea. I wasn't
around back-then but from what I heard in that period people would listen to
electronic music recordings in order to imagine images or scenes (with or
without chemicals.....). Presenting the way the sound is made graphically is
quite different from that.

In this context it now strikes me as quite funny that ChucK (through the
Audicle) has a way of representing the contents of the virtual machine that
looks a lot like a cluster of planets and stars. Maybe there should be rings
and comets there too! ;¬)
