So seems I just discovered that live-coding is much closer to my ideas of sculpting sound and music. Making pretty boxes with buttons is nice for instrument design, but for me it stiffled some aspects of creativity. Luckily, it only took me four years to find that out. I threw out Max, booted in SuperCollider and the way of the patchless lies before me (ok maybe some PD for multimedia stuff). If only I didn't have nightmares of lost ";" chasing me in endless loops.
