  Live coding is a new direction in electronic music and video, and is
  starting to get somewhere interesting. Live coders expose and rewire the
  innards of software while it generates improvised music and/or visuals.

  On the graphical live coding front, Dave Griffiths is working on a
  programming language based on traffic simulation, where cars and traffic
  lights are given little programs to follow, triggering sounds placed on
  the roads.

  Jam city featured as part of a recent planetarium gig at the immersive
  vision centre in Plymouth, where wrongheaded (Matthew Yee-King and
  Click Nilson) and slub (Dave Griffiths, Adrian Ward and Alex McLean)
  trialled surround sound and video.  This was a great success and we're
  now planning a national tour of planetariums for them.
