Well seeing as Io comes with socket support out of the box a
rudimentary OSC implementation shouldn't be too taxing. Mind you, I'm
not comfortable enough with the language yet to do so.

I think that aiming for a GUI client that is as equipped as sc3's may
be raising the bar a little high to begin with, but building a
simplistic GUI with a syntax equipped code editor should also be well
within the realms of possibility. Perhaps adding an Io lexer to the
scintilla widget and going from there ?
