[livecode] an angle to cut out iTunes?

Alex's comment on code running in the mind of the programmer (from the OS
paper) is probably quite pertinent. Also to remember are the continuums of
interaction (power of controls with respect to parameter space of music?)
and of gestural content, particularly directness of expressive detail-
no-one can code with haptic rate timing deviations for expressivity...

live coding allows the exploration of abstract algorithm spaces as an
intellectual improvisation.

thought experiment- someone writes down an instruction list for their use
of iTunes. They proceed to HDJ according to this instruction set. But
halfway through they modify the list.

Was that live coding?

We'll probably always be a bit stuck facing the continuum. But we can
encourage rather than demand- so that common sense prevails. Profundity of
change and depth of insight into code and dmusic representation to be
applauded.
