It was, although I'm now working through [5]. I had a problem getting
one of the examples from [1] to do anything, which turned out to be a
missing clutter_actor_show(stage) .

I think I'm just going to play around with putting words on the
screen, specifying various relationships between them and see where it
goes... Experimental text editing. Will let you know how it goes...
